幻の列車 - Skyline Connection

この名前かっこいいな。スカイラインってのは、日本じゃやっぱり車のイメージが強いけど、アムトラックの名前にもいいんじゃないかと。
計画では、シカゴ〜ピッツバーグ〜フィラデルフィアの予定でした。3月で廃止になった Three Rivers と似てます。これもある時期、時刻表に乗っていた列車です。でも実現してません。こういうのが、たまにあります。使わせてもらうはずだった線路を所有していた会社と交渉がうまく行かなかったとか。
名前を Skyline Connection GTR とかにしら、すごい早そうだったのに。ゴーン氏がアムトラックのCEOにでもなれば。。赤字もなくなるかも？
