ハリケーン被害による運行状況

ハリケーンの被害が次第に明らかになるにつれて、テレビや新聞が伝える映像や写真が悲惨なものになっています。本当に言葉になりません。
アムトラックが走る線路や駅などの施設にも被害が出ていますので、被害の大きいニューオーリンズに乗り入れている3路線の運行区間が無期限で変更になっています。
被害の大きいルイジアナ州、ミシシッピ州、アラバマ州周辺へ旅行の予定があった方はもちろん自粛されるかと思いますが、アムトラックの運行状況をお伝えします。
変更が出ているのは以下の3路線です。
City of New Orleans
Crescent
Sunset Limited
City of New Orleans
9月5日の南行き、6日の北行きから運行区間が Chicago 〜 Jackson （ミシシッピ州）になります。
それまでは Chicago 〜 Memphis （テネシー州）の運行。
不通となる Jackson 〜 New Orleans 間の代替え輸送はありません。
Crescent
12日の南行き、13日の北行きから運行区間が New York 〜 Meridian （ミシシッピ州）になります。
それまでは New York 〜 Atlanta (ジョージア州） 間の運行。
不通となる Meridian 〜 New Orenas 間の代替え輸送はありません。
Sunset Limited
運行区間は Los Angeles 〜 San Antonio （テキサス州）となっています。
不通となる San Antonio 〜 Orland （フロリダ州）間の代替え輸送はありません。
なお、不通区間の Houston （ヒューストン，テキサス州）からは Texas Eagles の停車駅 Longview （テキサス州）まで連絡バスが運行されています。
運行区間は状況がわかり次第、延長されることもあるようなので、また取り上げます。
