Sunset Limited 復旧予定

大型ハリケーン「カトリーナ」の被害で長らく不通になっている Sunset Limited が11月4日（正確には２日）に New Orleans 〜 San Antonio 間が復旧するそうです。これで Los Angeles 〜 New Orleans 間の運転になります。
不通は8月27日からなので、ほぼ2ヶ月ぶりの運転再開になります。すでに予約もはじまっているので、予定があった方は、待ちに待ったという感じでしょうか。
しかし New Orleans より東のフロリダ方面に関しては年内に復旧の見込みはないそうです。やはり被害が大きかったんですね。
Sunset Limited は週3本の運転ですが、最初の列車は 11月2日（水曜日）の午後2時半、ロサンゼルス発になります。New Orleans 着が４日の午後になりますが、さてどのくらい遅れるか。。なにはともあえれ、復旧は嬉しい限りですね！！
